Meet Rupa, our pink-staircase roof-terrace Mercedes Sprinter van
A custom 4-berth LWB Sprinter with a Folly Pink staircase to her own roof terrace, a walk-through bathroom, an extra-long bed, and 628Ah of lithium underneath
Rupa is a custom-built 4-berth LWB Mercedes Sprinter with a staircase to her own roof terrace, a walk-through bathroom, an extra-long bed, and 628Ah of lithium underneath it all. Her name comes from the Sanskrit for beauty and form, and one look inside tells you why. The palette is something special: walls and ceiling in Farrow & Ball Joa's White, kitchen cabinets and the staircase in Farrow & Ball Folly Pink, lounge cabinetry back in Joa's White, light green bespoke upholstery with a light piping feature, and oak-effect flooring underfoot. Handles in wood and satin brass, a satin brass sink and tap, and white stone-effect worktops throughout. Grown-up and luxurious, but relaxed and full of character.
And yes, we said staircase. Rupa's pop-top opens onto a proper roof terrace, accessible from inside via the stairs, with a decking light at the rear of the pop-top for the evenings. Morning coffee above the treeline, sunsets from your own rooftop. The pop-top itself has a full panoramic canvas with zip-up windows and fly screens, and sleeps two, making Rupa a proper 4-berth family van alongside the sofa bed below. The bathroom is a walk-through 1000 x 700 shower with two white screens, stone-effect walls, a black mixer and basin, and the Thetford 565 toilet, with ambient lighting throughout.
Off-grid, she's seriously capable: a 628Ah lithium battery, 300W of roof solar, a 3000W Renogy inverter charger, and full Bluetooth monitoring. The 2023 base van has approximately 25,000 miles on the clock, is fully ULEZ compliant & has 12 months MOT. Open the door, get the wow moment, put the kettle on, and disappear for the weekend.

What kind of campervans do you give away?
Every VC van is a premium, fully hand-built conversion. No flat-pack kitchens, no carpet on the walls. Think real wood, proper kitchens with compressor fridges and gas hobs, hot showers, diesel heating, lithium batteries, solar panels, and comfortable beds. Every van has its own name and personality.
What base vehicles do you use?
We use Mercedes Sprinters, VW Crafters, Fiat Ducatos, and Peugeot Boxers. All of them are under 3.5 tonnes, which means they can be driven on a standard UK driving licence.
Who builds the vans?
We work with a small number of trusted specialist UK converters. We also now build vans in-house at our Bristol workshop. Every build is checked by the VC team before it goes live.
Is the van insured when I collect it?
The van will be registered in your name. You'll need to arrange your own insurance before driving it away. We can advise on this after you win!
Can I see the full spec of the current van?

How do I collect the van if I win?
Our team will contact you after the draw to arrange everything. Collection is from Bristol. We'll do a full handover with you so you know exactly how everything works before you drive away.
What if I don't have a driving licence?
The van can still be registered in your name. You'll just need a licensed driver to collect it and drive it for you.
Do I need a special licence to drive it?
No. All our vans are under 3.5 tonnes and are able to be driven by anyone with a standard UK driving licence.
Is the van insured when I collect it?
The van will be registered in your name during handover but you will need to arrange your own insurance before driving it away. We work closely with a specialist insurer and are able to help with this process.
