Terms & Conditions

Competition Rules

VannyCampers Ltd    Effective: 18th May 2026

Welcome to VannyCampers. These Terms & Conditions are the rulebook for every prize competition we run. They explain who can enter, how to enter (paid or free), how draws are conducted, what prizes are awarded, and what happens if something goes wrong. By entering any VannyCampers competition, you agree to these Terms in full.

These Terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Terms of Use, and Acceptable Use Policy, all available at https://vannycampers.co.uk. Where there is a conflict between this document and any of those other policies on a competition matter, this document takes precedence.

VannyCampers Ltd is a signatory to the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators (2026). These Terms are written to comply with the Voluntary Code, the Gambling Act 2005, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, and applicable advertising codes (CAP / BCAP).

1. The Promoter

1.1       The promoter is VannyCampers Ltd ("VannyCampers", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 13264401), with registered office at Alveston, Bristol, United Kingdom. We operate prize competitions on the website https://vannycampers.co.uk ("Website"), our mobile applications, and our social media channels (together, the "Platform").

1.2       You can contact us by email at info@vannycampers.co.uk or by post at VannyCampers, 14-15 Triangle South, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1EY.

2. The Competitions

2.1       VannyCampers runs prize competitions in which entrants may win campervans, cash, outdoor gear, or other prizes ("Prize" or "Prizes"). All competitions ("Competition" or "Competitions") have two equally valid entry routes: a paid entry route and a free entry route by post (see clause 5).

2.2       Each Competition includes a multiple-choice skill question. Only entries that submit the correct answer to the skill question are eligible to win, whether they entered by paying or by post. The use of skill, judgement and a free entry route means our Competitions do not require a licence under the Gambling Act 2005 and may be operated lawfully in Great Britain.

2.3       Categories of Competition we may run from time to time include: (a) live-draw competitions for campervans and other physical prizes, drawn during scheduled live streams; (b) cash competitions; (c) gear and lifestyle competitions; (d) auto-draw competitions for subscribers; and (e) special promotional competitions advertised on the Platform.

2.4       Pricing, prize details, ticket allocations, the maximum number of entries per Competition, the maximum number of entries permitted per person, the start time, the closing time, and the draw date are stated on the relevant Competition page on the Platform before you enter ("Competition Details").

3. Eligibility

3.1       Competitions are open to natural persons aged 18 or over who are resident in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), the Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands.

3.2       Employees, directors, contractors and immediate family members of VannyCampers are not eligible to enter.

3.3       You must not enter from a jurisdiction where doing so would breach any applicable law. We will not be liable for any unlawful entry made by you, but we reserve the right to disqualify any entry that is, or that we reasonably believe is, made in breach of this clause.

3.4       When you register an account or place a paid entry you confirm that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) you have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; (c) all information you provide is accurate and complete; (d) you have read and accept these Terms; and (e) you accept our Privacy Policy.

3.5       We may, at any time, ask you to verify your age and identity by providing a copy of a valid government-issued ID and a recent proof of address. We will not award a Prize until satisfactory verification has been completed. If we cannot verify your eligibility, we may forfeit your entry without refund and re-draw the Prize.

4. Paid Entry (Online)

4.1       To enter online you must register a VannyCampers account, choose a Competition, select the number of tickets you wish to purchase, answer the skill question, and complete payment using one of our accepted payment methods.

4.2       A ticket is allocated to your account once payment has cleared. We will email you a confirmation. Tickets that fail payment, are reversed, or are charged back are void.

4.3       You must not enter on behalf of any other person. Each entry must be made from your own account using your own valid payment method.

4.4       The maximum number of paid entries permitted per person per Competition is shown on the Competition page. Entries made using multiple accounts, family/household members' accounts, or any device or method intended to circumvent the per-person limit will be void and any Prize won using those entries will be forfeited.

4.5       In line with the Voluntary Code, we will not accept credit-card payments from any single account in excess of £250 per calendar month across all our Competitions. Credit-card payment is not accepted for any instant-win Competition. Payments may be made by debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or any other method shown at checkout.

5. Free Entry by Post

5.1       You may enter any of our Competitions free of charge by post. To do so, please first create a complete VannyCampers account on the Website, then send an unenclosed stamped postcard with the information set out in clause 5.2 to the address in clause 5.4. There is no requirement to pay or to buy anything to use this route. The cost of postage is the only cost you may incur.

5.2 What to include on your postcard.

Your postcard must include, in clear and legible handwriting:

(a)        Your full name.

(b)       Your address.

(c)        Your date of birth.

(d)       The email address registered to your VannyCampers account.

(e)        Your telephone number.

(f)        The correct answer to the skill question for the Competition you wish to enter.

(g)       A statement confirming that you are a UK resident, over 18 years of age, and that you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

5.3       One postcard = one entry. Postal entries are limited to one (1) free entry per person, and one (1) free entry per household, per Competition. This limit is in place to keep the postal route fair and accessible. Multiple postcards from the same person, the same household, or the same address that exceed this limit will be void.

5.4       Send postal entries to: VannyCampers, 14-15 Triangle South, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1EY. Postcards must be unenclosed (sent without an envelope) and stamped with valid first- or second-class postage. Postcards sent through the letterbox by hand or in bulk envelopes will not be accepted.

5.5       Each postal entry has the same chance of winning per entry as a paid entry, in line with paragraph 2.2 of the DCMS Voluntary Code. We will not give postal entries lower priority, lower allocation, or different odds.

5.6       Once we receive your postcard we will process it onto our system before the Competition closing date. We will not send a confirmation or notification email for postal entries - please keep your own record. Entries must be received by us before the Competition closing time. We allow a reasonable period (a minimum of three (3) clear days) between launch and the deadline for postal entries. Royal Mail delivery times are outside our control and we cannot accept entries that arrive late.

5.7       Postal entries which are not clear and fully legible, are mechanically printed, are sent enclosed (in an envelope), are not stamped, are missing any of the information in clause 5.2, exceed the per-person/household cap in clause 5.3, or that we reasonably suspect are part of an attempt to abuse the postal route, will be void. We will not return rejected postal entries.

5.8       The free postal entry route is publicised on the Platform on every Competition page, in our Terms, in our advertising, and on social posts in line with paragraph 2.4 of the Voluntary Code. If you have trouble locating the postal route, email info@vannycampers.co.uk and we will respond within one (1) business day.

6. Subscriptions

6.1       A VannyCampers subscription ("Subscription") gives you automatic entries into Competitions for a recurring fee. Subscription tiers, pricing, the number of entries allocated per cycle, and any subscriber benefits are shown on the Subscription page on the Platform at the point of sign-up.

6.2       Subscriptions renew automatically on the date stated at sign-up until you cancel. Live-draw Competitions are launched on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month (subject to occasional changes which will be announced on the Platform). Subscription payments are taken on the working day(s) following each launch.

6.3       Where a payment fails, we will retry the payment for up to seven (7) days. If the payment cannot be collected within that period, your Subscription will pause and you will not receive entries until payment is updated.

6.4       Cancel any time. You may cancel your Subscription at any point - through your account on the Platform or by emailing info@vannycampers.co.uk. There is no minimum term, no notice period, and no cancellation fee. Once you cancel, you will not be billed again. You will keep any entries already allocated for the current cycle, and your Subscription benefits will continue until the end of that cycle. We do not offer partial refunds for the unused portion of a cycle that has already been paid (other than the statutory 14-day cooling-off right described in our Terms of Service, clause 5.3, and the migration-opt-out right described in clause 6.6 below).

6.5       Subscriptions are personal to you and may not be transferred. If we suspend or close your account under these Terms, your Subscription will be cancelled at that point and you will receive a refund only for cycles that have been billed but for which no entries had yet been allocated.

7. Promotion Periods

7.1       Each Competition runs for a defined period stated on the Competition page ("Promotion Period"). Live-draw Competitions are typically launched on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month and run for approximately two weeks until the next live draw.

7.2       In line with the Voluntary Code, paragraph 1.9, the Promotion Period for each Competition is set to allow a reasonable time between opening and conclusion to encourage responsible play and to allow free postal entries to reach us.

7.3       A Promotion Period ends at the earlier of (a) the closing time stated on the Competition page; or (b) the maximum number of tickets being sold. We will not extend a Promotion Period for low ticket sales and we will not change the draw date for any reason connected to ticket sales. We may, in exceptional circumstances (e.g. live-stream technical failure, force majeure), reschedule a draw and we will publicise the new date on the Platform within twenty-four (24) hours.

7.4       In accordance with the Voluntary Code, paragraph 2.5, prizes will not be reduced in value, varied to a lower-value prize, or cancelled because of low ticket sales. Every advertised Prize will be drawn and awarded.

8. The Draw

8.1       Live-draw Competitions are decided using our certified physical drawing machine (a numbered ball machine) at our HQ. The draw is live-streamed on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Each entry has an equal chance of being drawn, regardless of whether it was entered online or by post.

8.2       In the rare event that the ball machine cannot be used (for example, mechanical failure or scheduled service), we will use a verifiably random and auditable digital random number generator (the publicly accessible Google RNG, or an equivalent certified RNG). Where the digital RNG is used, the seed and result will be shown on the live stream and the input range will match the ticket-number range for that Competition.

8.3       Auto-draw Competitions for Subscribers are decided by an automated certified RNG which selects the winning ticket number(s) from all eligible tickets at the closing time. The result is auditable and recorded on our systems.

8.4       There is one (1) main Prize Winner per Competition unless we state otherwise on the Competition page (e.g. instant-win Competitions, multi-prize Competitions). The decision of the draw mechanism is final.

8.5       In line with the Voluntary Code, paragraph 2.2, every entry, paid or postal, has an equal chance of winning each available Prize.

9. Winner Notification & Verification

9.1       We will attempt to contact each winner within twenty-four (24) hours of the draw using the contact details on the winner's account. It is your responsibility to keep your contact details accurate.

9.2       Before any Prize is released, the winner must successfully complete identity verification, which may include providing a government-issued ID, a recent proof of address, and confirmation of date of birth (the "KYC Process"). For high-value Prizes (vehicles or cash above £5,000) we may also require live verification by video call.

9.3       If we cannot make contact with a winner, or the winner does not complete the KYC Process, within fourteen (14) calendar days of the draw (which we may extend in our reasonable discretion in genuine cases such as bereavement or hospitalisation), the Prize will be deemed forfeited and we will, at our discretion, redraw, roll the Prize forward, or void the Prize.

9.4       All cash Prizes are paid only to a UK bank account in the name of the verified winner. Prizes are not transferable to any third party.

10. Prizes

10.1     The Prize for each Competition is described in the Competition Details. Specifications, photographs and videos are illustrative; minor differences between an advertised vehicle and the delivered vehicle (such as software updates, manufacturer-mandated component changes, or normal pre-delivery wear) are not grounds for compensation.

10.2     Where the advertised Prize is a campervan, the Prize includes the campervan as described, free UK mainland delivery, twelve (12) months of road-legal status (current MOT where applicable, V5C transfer), and any documented build warranties from our converter partners. Insurance, road tax beyond the date of handover, fuel beyond a reasonable amount supplied at handover, and any modifications are the winner's responsibility.

10.3     In line with the Voluntary Code, paragraph 2.5, where we cannot deliver the advertised Prize for reasons beyond our reasonable control (e.g. supplier failure, vehicle write-off before handover), we will offer the winner a reasonable cash alternative of equivalent value, calculated at the cash alternative stated on the Competition page or, if none was stated, at the published RRP of the Prize at the time of the draw.

10.4     Cash alternatives. Where a Competition advertises both a Prize and a cash alternative, the winner may choose either. The cash alternative is the figure shown on the Competition page. Once a Prize choice has been confirmed in writing, the choice is binding.

10.5     Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable for other prizes (other than as set out in clause 10.4), or redeemable for additional cash beyond the published cash alternative. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher, offer or discount.

10.6     Tax. Cash Prizes are paid free of any tax deduction by us. Whether the receipt of a Prize gives rise to any personal tax liability for you (for example, in connection with onward sale) is your responsibility. We recommend you take independent advice if you are unsure.

11. Delivery, Storage and Handover

11.1     Vehicle handovers take place at our HQ in Alveston, Bristol unless otherwise agreed. We will, at our cost, deliver the vehicle to a UK mainland address chosen by the winner if the winner prefers. Delivery to addresses in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Scottish islands may be subject to a reasonable additional cost.

11.2     Cash Prizes are paid by bank transfer within seven (7) business days of completed verification.

11.3     Gear and lifestyle Prizes are dispatched within fourteen (14) calendar days of completed verification, by tracked courier, to UK addresses only. International delivery may be arranged at the winner's cost.

11.4     We will store any unclaimed physical Prize free of charge for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of notification. After that, we may charge a reasonable storage fee until the Prize is collected, payable by the winner before handover.

12. Publicity

12.1     By accepting a Prize you agree that we may publish your first name, last initial, hometown, and a photograph or short video of the handover on our website and social channels for transparency and marketing.

12.2     If you would prefer not to take part in publicity, please tell us in writing before handover. We will respect that choice while still publishing the minimum information needed to demonstrate the integrity of the draw (first name, last initial, town, ticket number).

13. Refunds, Cancellation and Withdrawal

13.1     Entries are final. Once a paid entry has been confirmed by us, no refunds are given except where: (a) we cancel a Competition under clause 13.3; (b) the entry was charged in error; or (c) we are required to refund by law.

13.2     Withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 is excluded for individual Competition entries. Entries are sweepstake-style services performed during the Promotion Period and the right to cancel does not apply once the entry is in the draw. This exclusion does not affect Subscription cancellation rights, which are described in clause 6.

13.3     We may cancel any Competition before the closing time if we reasonably believe its integrity has been compromised (for example, fraud, technical failure, force majeure). If we do, we will refund every entry made for that Competition or, at the entrant's choice, credit the equivalent value to that entrant's account.

13.4     Subscription billing disputes are handled in accordance with clause 6.

14. Disqualification

14.1     We may disqualify any entry, void any Prize, suspend any account, or close any account permanently, if we reasonably believe an entrant has: (a) breached these Terms; (b) provided false or misleading information; (c) used multiple accounts, family/household accounts, automated tools, or any other means to exceed the per-person ticket cap; (d) used a payment method that is not their own or has been used without authorisation; (e) abused our staff, our community, or other entrants on our Platform, our live streams or our social channels (see Acceptable Use Policy); (f) entered from a prohibited jurisdiction; or (g) acted in a way that is fraudulent, unlawful, or contrary to the spirit of the Competitions.

14.2     If we disqualify a winning entry, we may redraw the Prize, roll the Prize forward to a future Competition, or void the Prize. We may also retain or recover the value of any Prize already paid out where the winning entry is later found to have been disqualified.

15. Player Protection and Responsible Play

15.1     We are committed to making our Competitions fun, transparent, and safe. In line with the Voluntary Code we offer the following tools and protections.

15.2     Spend limits. You may set a maximum monthly spend limit on your account at any time, including £0. The limit applies to all paid entries across all our Competitions. Once you reach your limit, you will not be permitted to make further paid entries that month. We may also apply our own spend limits where our monitoring (clause 15.5) suggests harm.

15.3     Credit-card limit. We will not accept credit-card payments from any one account in excess of £250 in any calendar month. We never accept credit-card payment for instant-win Competitions.

15.4     Account suspension and closure. You may temporarily suspend your account at any time for a minimum period of six (6) months, during which we will not accept entries from you and will not send marketing. You may also permanently close your account at any time. Both options are accessible in your account settings, or by writing to info@vannycampers.co.uk, and we will action requests promptly. We also offer a short "pause" option for shorter cool-off periods.

15.5     Activity monitoring. We monitor account activity for indicators of harm including frequent or escalating spend, repeated payment-method changes, repeated reaching of spend limits, behaviour during live streams, and self-reported concerns. Where we identify indicators of harm we will take a tailored, proportionate step, that may include reaching out, capping spend, suspending the account, or refusing further entries.

15.6     Support. If you are worried about your own play or someone else's, free confidential help is available from GamCare (gamcare.org.uk, 0808 8020 133), GambleAware (begambleaware.org), Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk), Money Advice Trust / National Debtline (nationaldebtline.org), Samaritans (116 123) and Mind (mind.org.uk).

15.7     Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails or SMS at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, by replying STOP to an SMS, or by emailing privacy@vannycampers.co.uk. We will not send marketing during a self-imposed suspension.

16. Charitable Contributions

16.1     Where we promise a charitable contribution as part of a specific Competition, the named charity, the contribution mechanism (e.g. percentage of sales, fixed amount), and the timing of the donation will be stated clearly on the Competition page.

16.2     We publish summary information on charitable donations made by us at https://vannycampers.co.uk/charity, including the recipient charity, the amount given, and the period covered. Where a Competition uses a charitable contribution as part of its promotion, we will follow the principles set out in the Code of Fundraising Practice.

16.3     In line with paragraph 2.6 of the DCMS Voluntary Code, where we use charitable giving in our promotional activity we will work towards registration with the Fundraising Regulator (fundraisingregulator.org.uk) and will display that registration on the Platform once in place.

17. Liability

17.1     Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

17.2     Subject to clause 17.1, our total aggregate liability to a winner is limited to the value of the Prize (or its cash alternative) won.

17.3     Subject to clause 17.1, our total aggregate liability to any other entrant in any twelve-month period is limited to the total amount paid by that entrant for entries in that period.

17.4     We do not give any warranty regarding the suitability, condition, or fitness for any specific purpose of any Prize, beyond what is stated on the relevant Competition page and any documented warranty supplied with the Prize.

17.5     We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including industrial action, power or telecommunications failure, supplier failure, fire, flood, civil unrest, pandemic, government order, or war (a "Force Majeure Event"). If a Force Majeure Event affects a Competition we will, where reasonably possible, give notice on the Platform and take proportionate action under clause 13.3.

18. Data Protection

18.1     We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy at https://vannycampers.co.uk/policies/privacy-policy. By entering a Competition you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy.

18.2     We retain entry records, KYC documents and financial records for as long as necessary to administer Competitions, demonstrate the integrity of draws, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

19. Changes to these Terms

19.1     We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always shown on the Platform with the version date. Where we make a material change (one that materially reduces your rights or materially increases your obligations) we will give reasonable notice on the Platform and, where we hold a marketing email address, by email.

19.2     For Subscriptions, material changes are also covered by clause 6.6 - we will give at least 30 days' notice and obtain your renewed agreement before applying the change.

20. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

20.1     If something goes wrong, we want to put it right. Please email complaints@vannycampers.co.uk with the subject "Complaint", a description of the issue, your account email and any supporting evidence (screenshots, transaction IDs, draw timestamps).

20.2     We will acknowledge your complaint within two (2) business days and provide a substantive response within fourteen (14) business days. If your complaint is more complex we will explain why and give you a revised timeline.

20.3     If we cannot resolve a complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to our independent Alternative Dispute Resolution provider [Insert ADR provider on appointment]. ADR is voluntary on both sides but we are happy to take part where it would help reach a fair outcome. Your statutory rights, including the right to bring a claim in court, are not affected.

20.4     In line with the Voluntary Code, paragraph 1.2, our complaints process is published on our Platform and free to use. We do not pass complaint costs on to you.

21. General

21.1     Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

21.2     Jurisdiction. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live.

21.3     Severability. If any clause is held unenforceable, the rest of the Terms continue in force.

21.4     No waiver. A delay or failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver of the right to do so later.

21.5     Third parties. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply to these Terms.

21.6     Assignment. We may assign these Terms (in whole or in part) on notice; you may not assign your rights under them.

21.7     Entire agreement. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, the Terms of Use, and the Acceptable Use Policy) form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Competitions.
