It's completely free-standing, so nothing leans on your van or needs propping up, and when the wind picks up, the TwistLock drop-down legs lock it solidly in place. The fabric is 320g Ripstop Polycotton — the same material Latitude uses in their roof tents — fully waterproof straight out of the box, with the black colourway doubling as serious shade when the sun finally shows up. The powder-coated aluminium frame is built to handle proper weather, with rain tie-down points to keep water draining away rather than pooling above your head.

Two built-in LED light strips run along the arms, each individually switched, so your outdoor space stays warm and usable long after dark without a single extra cable.
